Casting Call



 
 

We've all played the casting director game when it comes to our favorite characters.  It's part of the fun of being a card-carrying member of Trixie World.  These are my visions, and I'm sure there are choices that you won't agree with, but that's all part of the game.  It'd be so boring if we all saw the same thing!  So I present for you, my ideas of what the BWG's might look like.  And be warned, this list could be revised and/or added to at any time - nothing is carved in stone around here!  *BAG*



 

Damian Lewis  (Jim)

Damian played the lead in Band of Brothers and as soon as I saw him last fall, I screamed "Jim!  There's my Jim!"

 


Heath Ledger 
(Mart)

Something about this young man's cocky grin just screams
a young Mart Belden to me.  He was so hot in
10 Things I Hate About You and A Knight's Tale.
I have different ideas about a more mature Mart, 
but this young fellow would certainly fit my vision
for my R&R universe.

 



 
 
 

Rossif Sutherland
(Dan)

Donald's son, Keifer's half-brother.
One of the few possibilities I've found for my Dan.
And his voice is reportedly very, very sexy!
I just wish I had a better picture!

 



 
 
 

George Clooney
(Brian)

Now is this a handsome man or what?  Since I've always pictured Brian as tall, dark and handsome, who better to portray him than George?  When you put him together with my Honey choice, you'll see what I mean.  *BAG*

 



 
 
 

Beth Ehlers
(Trixie)

Every time I think of Trixie, it's Beth, who plays
Harley Davidson Cooper on The Guiding Light 
who comes to mind.  I know, no curls, but she's just who I see!  Harley is a police detective at the moment,
but she has been a patrol cop and a private
investigator, and she's spunky and impulsive
which is probably why she makes me think of Trix.

 



 
 
 
 

Diane Lane
(Diana)

I have always thought that Diane Lane was one of the most beautiful woman in the world.  What better choice for the most beautiful girl in Sleepyside?  The picture on the left is how I see Di in R&R and the picture on the left is the more mature Di in C'est La Vie.

 



 
 
 

Catherine Deneuve
(Honey)

For the most graceful and elegant Madeleine G. Wheeler, my choice would be Catherine Deneuve (coincidently my husband's favorite).  Tone her hair to a softer gold and what young man wouldn't lose his heart to her!

 Mart - The Mature Version

I have two ideas for my favorite blond fellow.  On the left is one of my dream men, Dennis Quaid who is the perfect Mart for my C'est La Vie universe.  It's the grin that does it for me, doesn't it always?  And on the right is Mart as he approaches his 50's, Ed Harris, who has the most gorgeous blue eyes I have ever seen!

 



 
 
 

Grace Kelly

Just so elegantly cool and totally beautiful, Grace could easily be an alternate choice for Honey.  The Princess of Monaco as the Princess of Sleepyside, there's something right about that in my mind.
